Drivers will find a big change has happened under the hood. The 2025 Ram 1500 has ditched the HEMI V8 option, which is available on the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500, and now offers a new twin-turbocharged inline-six with options for 420- and 540-horsepower options. That still gives it ample performance where you won't see the Ram 1500 skip a beat as it can easily tow and haul.
Some of the other new features include new lighting fixtures and wheel designs for an upgraded modern look; plus, inside the Ram 1500, you'll find a new standard 12-inch touch display, with a larger 14.5-inch touch display optional. You can even add a 10.3-inch passenger-side screen as well for others in the vehicle to utilize. These added premium amenities all come together in a new trim level: the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten. It offers quilted leather upholstery, massaging seats, and a 23-speaker audio system.
Another thing that's new for the Ram 1500 is the Ram 1500 Ramcharger, a plug-in hybrid option, and the Ram 1500 REV electric vehicle. While they will have a classification as a separate vehicle, they're in the Ram 1500 family, and now offer those in areas like Rockford, Lowell, Holland, and Kalamazoo more options for quality pickup trucks here in Grand Rapids.
