What's New on the 2025 Ram 1500?
The new Ram 1500 has many new updates. The big one is that the old HEMI® V8 has been replaced with a twin-turbo inline-six engine. You'll still get plenty of power from that option. The Ram 1500 Tungsten is also a new trim that provides high-end amenities onboard. Additionally, you'll find that there's a new larger standard touch display and an option for an even bigger one on select vehicles, plus all the latest software and safety updates to help systems onboard run smoothly.
Interior and Technology
While you can load up cargo and supplies in the versatile truck bed, you'll also find luxurious cabins on numerous Ram 1500 trims. This includes features on most trims, like heated and ventilated front seats plus a panoramic sunroof, while select trims offer leather seating options and genuine wood accents. The top-level Ram 1500 Tungsten offers 24-way adjustable front seats with a massage function, too.
With technology features, there's an available 23-speaker Klipsch stereo system, which can be enjoyed via your favorite music, audiobooks, or podcasts accessible via a 12-inch touch display or an optional 14.5-inch option. Both are connected to Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® and showcase all the standout infotainment on screen.
Safety
There are plenty of safety features on the 2025 Ram 1500. This includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistant, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and available adaptive cruise control, including select Ram 1500 vehicles with a hands-free driving mode.
Performance
The Ram 1500 offers a standard V6 engine assisted by a 48-volt hybrid system to generate better wheel power, giving you 305 horsepower. The new twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, called the Hurricane engine, produces 420 or 540 horsepower, depending on your chosen setup. You'll also find plenty of towing and payload capacity, too. That includes a maximum towing of 11,580 pounds and a max payload of 2,300 pounds. It's estimated that the base V6 engine will provide up to 20 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway.
